1. Plate and frame filter press
The plate and frame filter press is the separation of solid and liquid in industrial production. The plate and frame filter press is a suspension of solid and liquid phase separation, which is used in chemical, ceramics, petroleum, medicine, food, smelting and other industries. It is also suitable for sewage treatment in the industrial filtration industry; the hydraulic type is a mechanical, electrical and hydraulic integrated type. It adopts hydraulic equipment to compress and compress, manual mechanical locking to maintain pressure. Convenient operation and maintenance, safe and reliable operation. The working principle of the plate and frame filter press: used for the separation of solids and liquids. The mud cake filtered by the filter press has higher solid content and excellent separation effect. The basic principle of solid-liquid separation is: the mixed liquid flows through the filter medium (filter cloth), the solid stays on the filter cloth, and gradually accumulates on the filter cloth to form a filter cake. The filtrate part penetrates the filter cloth and becomes a clear liquid without solids.
Two, selection
The plate and frame filter press consists of alternately arranged filter plates and filter frames to form a set of filter chambers. The surface of the filter plate has grooves, and the protruding parts are used to support the filter cloth. There are through holes on the corners of the filter frame and the filter plate, which form a complete channel after assembly, which can pass in the suspension, washing water and draw out the filtrate. There are handles on both sides of the plate and the frame to support the beam, and the plate and the frame are pressed by a pressing device. The filter cloth between the plate and the frame acts as a sealing gasket. The suspension hydraulic pressure is injected into the filter chamber by the feed pump to form filter residue on the filter cloth until the filter chamber is filled. The filtrate passes through the filter cloth and flows along the grooves of the filter plate to the corner channels of the plate frame and is discharged in a concentrated manner. After filtration, clean washing water can be passed to wash the filter residue. After washing, compressed air is sometimes introduced to remove the remaining washing liquid. Then turn on the filter press to unload the filter residue, clean the filter cloth, re-press the plate and frame, and start the next working cycle.
The plate and frame filter press is suitable for suspensions with high or nearly incompressible filter residue. The solid particle concentration of a suitable suspension is generally below 10%, and the operating pressure is generally 0.3 to 0.6 MPa, and in special cases it can reach 3 MPa or higher. The filter area can be increased or decreased with the number of plate frames used. The plate frame is usually square, the inner side length of the filter frame is 320-2000 mm, the frame thickness is 16-80 mm, and the filtering area is 1 to 1200 m2. The plate and frame are compressed by manual screw, electric screw and hydraulic pressure. The plates and frames are made of wood, cast iron, cast steel, stainless steel, polypropylene and rubber.
Three, operating procedures
1. Preparation before operation
(1) Whether the number of board frames meets the regulations, and it is forbidden to start working when the board frames are less than the specified number.
(2) Whether the arrangement sequence of the plate and frame meets the requirements, whether the installation is smooth, and whether the sealing surface contact is good.
(3) Whether the filter cloth is damaged, the filter cloth hole is smaller than the plate frame hole and relatively concentric with the plate frame hole.
(4) Whether each pipeline is unblocked and whether there are any leaks.
(5) Whether the hydraulic system is working normally and whether the pressure gauge is sensitive and easy to use.
2. Matters needing attention in operation
(1) The installation filter cloth must be flat and not allowed to be folded to prevent damage to the frame and leakage during pressing.
(2) The working pressure of the hydraulic station The maximum working pressure of the rubber-plastic frame shall not exceed 20Mpa.
(3) The filter pressure must be less than 0.45Mpa, and the temperature of the filter material must be less than 80°C to prevent leakage and plate frame deformation and tearing.
(4) The relief valve of the control device must be adjusted to the minimum working pressure used when the piston is retracted.
(5) When the plate frame moves on the main beam, no collision or beating is allowed, and the force should be balanced to prevent damage to the handle and the sealing surface.
(6) The valves for materials, compression, lotion or hot water must be activated according to the operating procedures, and must not be activated at the same time.
(7) When cleaning the plate frame and filter cloth after unloading the cake, ensure that the channels are unblocked, and do not allow residues to stick to the sealing surface or the feeding channel.
(8) When the hydraulic system stops operating, the long lever handwheel of the operating device should be normally open, and the short lever handwheel should be normally closed to ensure safety and avoid waste of oil.
3. Daily maintenance
(1) Pay attention to whether the connecting parts of each part are loose, and should be tightened at any time.
(2) The compression shaft or compression screw should be well lubricated to prevent foreign matter.
(3) The pressure gauge should be checked regularly to ensure its sensitivity.
(4) The dismantled board frame should be stacked flat when storing to prevent bending and deformation.
(5) Check whether the working pressure of the hydraulic system and the oil volume in the oil tank are within the specified range every shift.
(6) Clean 46# hydraulic oil should be added to the oil tank and filtered through an 80-100 mesh filter. It is forbidden to add oil containing impurities or moisture to the oil tank.
(7) The operator should insist on cleaning the equipment at all times and keep the filter press clean and tidy, so that there is no filter cake, debris, etc. in and around the equipment.
